Each of the vessels has a length of 330 meters, a width of 60 meters and a height of 29.6 meters, and is fitted with an exhaust gas reduction scrubber. They will be designed and delivered to the shipping company sequentially from May 2022 at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries in Yeongam, South Jeolla Province.

KSOE has won orders for 25 of the 37 super-large crude carriers awarded this year with the new order, taking up 68 percent of the world market.

“We are continuously receiving inquiries about various types of ships and projects including ultra-large crude oil carriers. We will go the extra mile to take more orders by the end of the year,” KSOE announced.
