Aker Solutions and Doosan Babcock come together for low-carbon solutions
Aker Solutions and Doosan Babcock have agreed to partner on low-carbon and clean energy ventures in the United Kingdom.
The partners will concentrate on negotiating and winning contracts for new hydrogen production plants as well as carbon capture, utilization, and storage facilities (CCUS). Other project possibilities in the process and energy sectors will be investigated.
The two organizations have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and formed a team comprised of key members from both organizations.
For the UK's progressive energy transformation agenda, the combination of Aker Solutions and Doosan Babcock offers a complete engineering, procurement, design, and installation (EPCI) solution. The two companies have already established and are preparing for several key prospects.

Aker Solutions has built a sizable company in the areas of decarbonization and renewables in recent years.
Doosan Babcock is a British engineering and construction company that is part of the multinational Doosan group. The business has a strong track record in onshore projects and power plant development in the United Kingdom, as well as experience with carbon capture plant projects.
