Acta Pegasus is the first vessel in a four-ship newbuild series ordered by Acta Marine. Designed to accommodate up to 135 personnel, the vessel is equipped with advanced offshore access and lifting systems, including a 3D motion-compensated gangway and crane, ensuring safe and efficient offshore operations.

Built in line with sustainability objectives, Acta Pegasus has been delivered methanol-ready. The vessel features dual-fuel engines capable of operating on marine gas oil (MGO) or an MGO-methanol blend, supporting reduced emissions and environmentally responsible operations.

Commenting on the delivery, Rob Boer, CEO of Acta Marine, said:

“The addition of Acta Pegasus to our fleet sets a new benchmark for sustainable Walk-to-Work vessels, enabling significant reductions in CO₂ emissions through environmentally friendly technologies.”

The second vessel of the series, Acta Hercules, is scheduled to enter service in the first quarter of 2026, followed by Acta Gemini and Acta Aquarius in the second quarter of the year.

Mehmet Gazioğlu, CEO of Tersan Shipyard, stated:

“The delivery of Acta Pegasus demonstrates our ability to build and deliver highly complex offshore vessels to the highest international standards. We are proud to support Acta Marine’s sustainable fleet strategy.”

Featuring Ulstein’s advanced twin X-STERN hull design, Acta Pegasus offers enhanced operability, reduced pitching, and high dynamic positioning performance in challenging conditions. The vessel also prioritizes crew wellbeing with high-comfort cabins, modern social areas, gym, sauna, and smart Wi-Fi connectivity throughout.
