Crescent is building the largest motor yacht in Canada

The largest motor yacht to be built in Canada has begun construction at Richmond-based shipyard Crescent Custom Yachts. The 50 metre yacht was sold to an American owner.

Crescent Custom Yachts has been building boats since 1984. The last asking price for the completed yacht was €35,000,000. The yacht will be built at the yard’s Richmond facility. Details remain unknown, with the guest accommodation, designers, propulsion package and scheduled delivery date still under wraps.

Tim Charles, Crescent Custom Yachts principal, stated that “We are excited to add this exceptional vessel to our line of custom yachts. The composite hull was purchased from Christensen Shipyards. It is well-built and is a proven platform for the Crescent design.”

The deal has been made by Northrop & Johnson's Paul Daubner and Steve Elario.
