Solstad Offshore awarded long-term contract for three PSV's

Solstad Offshore ASA ('Solstad') has announced that a long-term contract with a leading North Sea Operator has been awarded to PSV Normand Surfer.

For a period of four wells, which have an estimated total length of approximately 550 days, the vessel was contracted, with two choice wells thereafter. Operations will take place in UK waters and the deal will begin in the first quarter of 2021.

In addition, the current PSV Far Spica contract has been extended to include the current Charterer contract. This deal is also in the United Kingdom and is still in effect until December 2021.

Solstad has also announced that Tullow Suriname BV has contracted PSV Normand Supra for a one-well offshore Suriname drilling campaign beginning in December 2020. The contract has an estimated duration of approximately three months, including transit time for vessels.
