Russia held drills at the naval bases of Black Sea
The shipborne air defense teams from the Black Sea Fleet conducted drills at the Sevastopol and Novorossiysk naval bases, announced by the Fleet's press office on Monday.
The drills involved about 20 ships that were staying at the naval bases of the Black Sea Fleet.
"During the exercise, the teams of shipborne combat posts detected and identified targets while air defense teams notionally destroyed the enemy aviation with the ships’ air defense weapons after the air targets came within the destruction distance," the press office stated.
