Pakistan Navy made a firing drill in the North Arabian Sea

On 25 April the Pakistan Navy conducted Live Weapon firing of Anti-Ship Missiles from the North Arab Sea surface and shore aircraft units.

Pakistan Navy Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Adm Zafar Mahmood Abbasi was witness to the drills as Chief Guest and said the Pakistan Navy is always ready to thwart any aggression against Pakistan's maritime borders.

The firing of the weapon involved the launch of anti-ship missiles from Destroyers, Fixed and Rotary Wing aircraft.

The missiles which were fired from the assets successfully reached their intended target during the FIREX. Officials of the Pakistan Navy have confirmed that the successful firings reaffirmed the warfare capability and fighting capacity of the Pakistan Navy.

On the occasion, the CNS informed the nation that the Pakistan Navy was ever ready to thwart any aggression against the maritime borders of Pakistan, and will continue to play its part in making the country's security impregnable.

Pakistan Navy is completely trained to deal with threats through a whole spectrum of warfare. Display of lethal weaponry by PN Fleet's Surface and Aviation units was a manifestation of this readiness and determination.
