Okeanis Eco Tankers signed time charter contract for VLCC vessels

For one of its VLCC vessels, Oslo-listed Greek owner Okeanis Eco Tankers (OET) has entered into a time charter contract with an undisclosed national energy firm.

From November, either Nissos Donoussa or Nissos Kythnos will start a one-year contract at a gross daily rate of $34,000 per day.

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the vessel will be sold back to OET on the spot market. Alafouzo's family-controlled OET owns a fleet of 11 tankers.
