MSC Cruises wins NAMEPA's 2020 Marine Environment Protection Awards
MSC Cruises has been honored with the Maritime Industry category award at the North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA) 2020 Marine Environment Protection Awards.
The company said that the award recognizes its multifaceted environmental work and recognizes three key sustainability milestones achieved in 2019: the start of construction of MSC World Europa, the first of up to nine new-generation LNG-powered ships to join the company's fleet in the next decade; the restoration of the original, pristine state of the Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the Bahamas; and
