Holland America Line's new vessel floats out at Fincantieri
Ahead of its 2021 launch, the Holland America Line's Rotterdam floated out of its building dock at Fincantieri.
The ship is now on a pier for her final outfitting at Marghera, scheduled to debut next July.
Sea trials are expected to take place early next year.
Of note, the ship was originally called the Ryndam, but after the selling of the previous Rotterdam to Fred, Holland America changed it to Rotterdam. Earlier this year, Olsen Cruise Lines.
As it will spend the summer of 2021 exploring Northern Europe and the Baltic on round-trip cruises from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, the newbuild is the seventh ship to be called the Rotterdam.
