Holland America Line cancels June 2021 cruises

According to a press release, Holland America Line has extended its cruise operations pause to include all June 2021 roundtrip sailings to Alaska from Seattle, Washington.

Six cruises on the Eurodam and Oosterdam with a stop in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada are included. Alaska cruises departing from Seattle roundtrip in July thereafter and have not been canceled, according to the group.

Following an earlier Canadian Transport Ministry Interim Order that closed Canadian ports to passenger ships, talks with Canadian and US public officials are continuing to try to save the remaining Seattle Alaska sailings.

All 2021 Alaska cruises to or from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada have been cancelled, according to Holland America Line.

The company confirmed that guests currently booked on the cancelled roundtrip Seattle-Alaska June departures would be automatically transferred to an equivalent cruise in 2022 at the 2021 fare, with all cash and Future Cruise Credit funds transferred to the new booking.

If guests do not approve the 2022 cruise booking after receiving a new booking confirmation, they will have the option to decline the booking and receive an FCC of 110 percent of the cash paid. Guests will also have the option of requesting a complete refund of all fees paid to Holland America Line.
