Håkan Agnevall takes over CEO position of Wärtsilä
On February 1, 2021, Håkan Agnevall will take over the role of CEO of the Finnish marine equipment manufacturer Wärtsilä.

Wärtsilä first revealed in September 2020 that Agnevall, president of the bus division of Volvo, will become the new CEO by April 2021 at the latest.
The company said on Tuesday that on February 1, 2021, he will take over his position as President & CEO of Wärtsilä.
He will replace Jakko Eskola, who will serve as a senior board and executive team advisor until he retires after 22 years with the organization on June 30, 2021.
