Egypt and Spain conduct naval exercise in Red Sea
Egyptian and Spanish naval forces conducted a joint Red Sea naval exercise at the Berenice Military Base in the Southern Fleet Region.
The exercise saw the presence of two Al Nasser and Abou Qir Egyptian frigates.
Naval training is part of the initiative of the General Command of the Armed Forces to improve the readiness of the naval forces to fight and to exchange military skills with the armed forces of fraternal and friendly nations.
Several professional training events were included in the war game, such as air defense drills against various surface threats.
It also included preparing and conducting signal transportation exercises on various sailing formations.
