Diana Shipping signed time charter contract with Koch Shipping
Diana Shipping Inc. has signed a time charter contract with Singapore's Koch Shipping, for one of its dry bulk vessels.
The gross charter rate is US$ 18,400 per day for a period up to at least October 16, 2021 until December 30, 2021 at the maximum.
Today the charter is expected to begin later. The MV Newport News is currently chartered, as previously announced, at a gross charter rate of US$ 16,500 per day to SwissMarine Services S.A., Geneva, minus a commission of 5 per cent paid to third parties.
This employment is expected to generate about US$ 7.3 million of gross revenue over the time charter 's minimum scheduled period.
The Newport News is a 208,021 dwt dry bulk vessel built in 2017 by Newcastlemax.
At the moment the fleet of Diana Shipping Inc. consists of 40 dry bulk vessels. As of today the Company's fleet's combined carrying capacity is about 5.0 million dwt.
