CMA CGM says missing staff member died in Beirut blast
Container shipping group CMA CGM said on Thursday that one of its employees who was missing after an explosion that broke through the Port of Beirut on Tuesday had died.
The French-based company announced in a statement that two of its employees in Beirut were critically injured and that others were slightly injured.
It also announced the establishment of a logistics hub in the Lebanese port of Tripoli, as well as other shipping companies, and also provided logistical assistance to the authorities.
