Turkish Chamber of Shipping Management at the 31st Assembly of IMO

The 31st Assembly of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) takes place at IMO Headquarters in London between 25 November and 4 December 2019.

In the Assembly, Turkey was represented by Transport and Infrastructure Minister Mehmet Cahit Turhan. Turkish Chamber of Shipping Chairman Tamer Kıran, the Vice Chairs, the Board of Directors, and members of the Presidential Council were also present at the assembly.

At the IMO Assembly, category C elections will be held, which will also be participated by Turkey.

A reception was given by Transport and Infrastructure Minister Mehmet Cahit Turhan at Turkey's Embassy in London on Tuesday evening, November 26 in order to support the candidacy of our country. IMO Secretary General Ki Tack Lim also attended the event.
