Solstad Offshore receives four PSV contracts for work in the UK North Sea
According to a press release from Solstad Offshore ASA ("Solstad"), the company has been awarded four Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) contracts for work in the UK North Sea.
Normand Springer has been awarded a term contract by Total E&P UK Limited / Total E&P North Sea UK Limited (“Total UK”).
Total UK will use the vessel to finance their UK North Sea properties for a one-year firm charter contract with a one-year extension. Beginning in the second half of March 2021, this contract will be concluded.
Equinor UK Limited has also awarded Solstad two PSV contracts for a future exploration program in the UK North Sea. Normand Sitella and Sea Falcon have been contracted to support the semi-submersible drilling rig West Hercules on a one-well firm basis, starting in Q2 2021, with one option well after that.
For work in the UK North Sea, Serica Energy UK Limited has awarded Solstad a 1 well firm contract for Normand Service.
The contract will begin in the first half of March 2021 and will help the Maersk Robust jack-up drilling rig.
