The company noted that it remains confident about the ultimate restart of travel while continuing to take a realistic approach to extending its current operating pause in the meantime.

Seabourn cited the Interim Order of the Canadian Transport Ministry that closed Canadian ports and waters to passenger ships as they were cancelled for the Alaska season.

The cancellation notice refers to a total of 19 trips between Vancouver, Canada and Juneau, Alaska, scheduled onboard the Seabourn Odyssey in summer 2021.

To provide them with greater clarification about their travel plans, guests with bookings impacted by this announcement are given as much notice as possible.

Guests with affected cruise bookings will automatically be cancelled and re-booked at the rate paid plus current facilities for a comparable 2022 trip. If Seabourn has completed the reservation transfer, if an alternative option is chosen by the guest, they may also request a full refund of the money paid to Seabourn in the original form of payment or to be transferred to the new reservation.
