Hyundai Heavy receives $122M order for two oil carriers

Hyundai Heavy Industries, South Korean shipbuilder, announced that it won an order to build two crude oil carriers.

In a brief statement on the Korea Exchange, Hyundai said the order was worth $122.2 million, or 149.8 billion South Korean Won.

Hyundai Heavy Industries said it would create a European customer for the two crude oil carriers. It did not provide further customer details.

The delivery is due by mid-February 2022.
