Guangzhou Shipyard receives orders from Nanjing Tanker
Nanjing Tanker, a China Merchants Group tanker unit, has placed an order for the construction of four product tankers at Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI).

The order consists of two 49,500 DWT tankers and two 49,700 DWT tankers. The vessels will follow the new MR tanker design from GSI that has a set of green and smart characteristics.
The vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2022.
At present, Nanjing Tanker has two other 49,700 dwt tankers under construction at GSI.
A fleet of 44 vessels consisting of 39 tankers and five LPG carriers is currently operated by Nanjing Tanker.
