Led by BV Solutions Marine & Offshore (BVS M&O), BVS eAcademy offers more than 25 maritime courses built from BV's own internal training academy which has provided more than 20,000 training sessions to over 1,500 BV employees since 2016.

The course, offered online and on demand, is ideal for maritime professionals or students interested in improving their knowledge and understanding of particular areas of expertise in key technical areas of naval architecture; materials, welding and non-destructive testing (NDT); rules and regulations; or classification and regulatory matters.

One of the foundation courses is "The Introduction to Naval Architecture," a multi-module course that provides a thorough overview and deep insight into ship design and construction within 20 hours of training. This course would be of use to professionals involved in ship operations, maritime enforcement, ship broking, or certain classes of stakeholders and ancillary services providers.

"We are very excited to share our expertise and the success of our own approach to training. Our ambition is to share this knowledge with as many people as possible using the practical digital academy format to enable convenient distance learning for anyone with an internet connection," commented Paul Shrieve, President BVS.
