Port of Amsterdam announced its new Chief Financial Officer

As of 1 January 2021, Alexander Kousbroek has been appointed Port of Amsterdam's current Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Since 2015, Kousbroek (40) has worked at the Port of Amsterdam, including as Head of Finance and Control since 2016, a role in which he has gained extensive port knowledge and experience.

Since 1 February 2020, Kousbroek has been the acting CFO of the Port, having succeeded Michiel de Brauw in the past year, who was unable to perform his duties due to health reasons. De Brauw will remain working at the Port, where numerous projects are to be undertaken.

iAlexander Kousbroek is responsible for the management of many departments at the Port in his capacity as CFO, including Finance & Control, Risk Management, Business Control, Information Technology, Purchasing, and Legal Affairs.

Prior to entering the Port of Amsterdam, Kousbroek worked at Deloitte as an accountant for several years.
