Ørsted appoints Mads Nipper as its new CEO
Starting from 1 January 2021, the Danish renewable energy company Ørsted named Mads Nipper as its current CEO and group president.
Nipper joins the pump manufacturer Grundfos, where he worked as chairman and CEO, and will replace Henrik Poulsen, who resigned in June to step down by January 2021.
“Anchored in a clear sustainability vision, Mads has led a highly successful transformation of Grundfos over the past six years that has reinforced the company’s position in an increasingly competitive market, while also strengthening financial performance," Thomas Thune Andersen, chairman of Ørsted.
