Tersan Shipyard has signed a contract with Østerfjord AS

Turkish Tersan has entered into contract with Norwegian Østerfjord AS to build a 67 meters Longliner Danish Seiner Fishing Vessel.

Tersan Shipyard Inc. (Tersan Tersanecilik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S.) announces the contract of NB1098 with a press release which has published August 19.

The Hybrid powered vessel is designed by Marinteknikk and will be built by Tersan to carry out fishery operations in the Atlantic. The vessel will be outfitted with and advanced fish process and she will be fishing also as a Danish seiner besides her longlining capabilities. The steel cutting of 67 meters long and 14,6 meters wide vessel will start by the beginning of 2020 and the delivery is planned to be take place in the mid of 2021.

Tersan is one of Turkey’s largest new building shipyard employing almost 3.200 people in two shipyards, in Istanbul and in Yalova and with a track record of building more than 70 ships.
