The shipper announced that SN2312 was launched on 16 January. GasLog Winchester will be the name of the vessel, scheduled for delivery in August 2021.
X-DF low-pressure, two-stroke main engines and GTT Mark III Flex Plus cargo containment systems will feature on the vessel.
The vessel will be chartered to Cheniere Energy following delivery, along with its sister vessel, GasLog Wellington.
As a note, GasLog signed charter deals with Cheniere Energy for two 180,000 cubic meter LNG carriers, SN2311 and SN2312, in December 2018. The vessels are chartered for seven years for a firm period.
