Russian Sovcomflot sells 2002-built aframax tanker

Russian state-run shipping giant Sovcomflot sold its 2002-built aframax tanker Petropavlovsk to UAE-based shipping company Khor Al Zubair.

The 106,000 dwt vessel constructed in Japan was sold to the UAE tanker owner at a price of $10.2 m, marginally lower than the cost of $10.89 m by VesselsValue.

It is the fourth tanker recently sold by Sovcomflot, following two MR tankers and a suezmax tanker out the door.
