Princess Cruises arranges charter flights for Coral passengers

The company said it had arranged an additional nine scheduled domestic charter flights, and guests needing shoreside medical treatment were disembarked and treated at local and national hospitals.

Approximately 90 foreign guests will remain on board due to existing international travel restrictions despite today's disembarkation efforts.

Homeward travel arrangements for these guests will be made as soon as each country obtains clearance of arrival, the company said.

The Coral Princess left San Antonio (Santiago) on March 5 for a cruise to South America.
