NYK vessel rescued four fishermen

CSK Zephyr, a bulk carrier owned by NYK, rescued four fishermen whose boat had capsized off Manila's coast in bad weather on 12 June (local time).

While CSK Zephyr was sailing to Caofeidian, Tangshan in China from Port Hedland, Australia, the vessel found four fishers clinging to their ships.

CSK Zephyr 's master immediately informed shore management, the Philippine Coast Guard, and the Co-ordination Center for Maritime Rescue, and the four men were taken on board.

The rescued fishermen are in good health and they were moved to a vessel in the Philippine Coast Guard.
