North Korean fishing vessel sank after accident with Japan patrol boat

Fisheries Agency officials announced that the Japanese vessel had no major damage and was able to move on. However North Korean vessel have collided in waters off Japan's northern coast.

The Japanese Fisheries Agency has announced that the collision occurred in the area known as Yamatotai, off Japan's northern coast of the Noto Peninsula. The collision occured in an area known as Yamatotai, off the northwestern coast of the Noto Peninsula.

The North Korean ship sank about half an hour after the collision, according to statement of a Japanese coast guard.
