Noble Group exits shipowning with the sale of its last capesize

With the sale of its latest capesize, Noble Group Holdings has exited shipowning.

The commodity group, which has undergone an enormous restructuring in recent years, has sold the $16.63 million Aqua Vision. The vessel was bought by Greek owner Lavinia and renamed Aipos.

Noble works in the energy supply chain for raw materials, manufactured metals, special minerals and industrial minerals and base metals, and finances its freight and logistics activities. It is increasingly moving into businesses related to clean energies and renewables.

Noble Group Limited, the group's former holding company previously listed in Singapore but now unrelated to Noble Holdings following the restructuring, is undergoing a phase of liquidation in the Bermuda area.
