Minerva and Hafnia completes their first bunker delivery together

Minerva Bunkering, a Swiss-based marine fuel logistics company, and Hafnia, a Singapore-based tanker company, have completed the first-ever delivery of bunkers entirely through Minerva's new Advanced Delivery Platform.

The platform offers real-time information of bunkering activities, including the supplied fuel efficiency, operational timelines, and the volume obtained according to the profiles of the mass flow meter.

Onboard documentation is performed entirely digitally through the networked application on both supplying and receiving vessels, resulting in hours of saved time and decreased human error. In order to allow streamlined invoicing and business intelligence, back-end integration with customer software systems is supported through the API.

“We are very excited to introduce the ADP as it offers . transparency and efficiency, and represents a solution to some of the most significant challenges shipowners face when buying bunker fuel,” Tyler Baron, Minerva CEO commented.

In early 2021, Minerva plans to launch an ADP commercial service covering the markets of ARA, Fujairah, and Singapore. Hafnia has worked with Minerva on the essential design elements of the ADP and has signed a supply agreement for these ports with Minerva.
