Hyundai Mipo receives order for petrochemical carrier pair

South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Mipo Dockyard has signed a sales and supply contract worth KRW 80 billion ($72.7 million) for two petrochemical product carriers.

Company did not identified by the European client behind the order. The ships are scheduled for delivery in 2022, Hyundai Mipo said in a regulatory filing.

Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co. has received orders for 14 ships worth $1.4 billion this year so far.

The shipbuilder has raised its target to a combined $14.9 billion for 2021, Yonhap stated.
