Hong Kong-based Asia Energy to sell its bulk carrier

Asia Energy Logistics, based in Hong Kong, has announced that it has agreed to sell its MV Asia Energy bulk carrier.

In a brief statement on Thursday, Asia Energy Logistics said that its subsidiary Asia Energy entered into a MOA with an undisclosed buyer on November 5, 2020, after trading hours, to sell the M / V Asia Energy bulk carrier.

For the 2001-built vessel, the purchaser would pay a cash balance of US$ 3,300,000 (equivalent to approximately HK$25,740,000).

The 169-meter-long handysize bulk carrier was bought by Asia Energy Logistics in 2013.

According to the heat map of the vessel found on VesselsValue, the bulk carrier has served mainly in Southeast Asia in the past year.
