Fishing vessel caught on fire in Mexico

Fire erupted on board of tuna fishing vessel named MARIA VERONICA on October 1.

Mexico-flagged tuna fishing vessel MARIA VERONICA caught in a fire after departing for fishing. Fire quickly spread into engulfing vessel and it billowed heavy smoke with toxic fumes. According to reports, 1200 people were evacuated. It has been announced that the vessel sank.
