A fire broke out from the interior of a ship under construction on the yard. One worker, who was doing spray painting work on board the ship, died while another suffered burns and was transferred to the nearest hospital for medical care.
The fire was soon extinguished by the shipyard's own firefighting unit.
The authorities have begun investigation into the incident.
