China's new shipbuilder Dayang makes its debut

China's New Dayang Shipbuilding has received an order from Wenzhou Haobo Harbor Engineering for a crane vessel.

This is the first crane ship ever ordered by the shipyard and marks the entrance into the market of offshore engineering vessels.

The vessel has a lifting capacity of 4,000 tons and is expected to meet the increasing demand from offshore wind farms for offshore engineering. Delivery of the vessel is planned for 2021.

New Dayang Shipbuilding currently has an orderbook for 22 bulk carriers.
