Carnival Cruise Line cancels remaining cruises for November 2020

Carnival Cruise Line has announced that it will cancel the remaining cruises in November 2020 for the six total ships operating from PortMiami and Port Canaveral.

According to a press release , the company has also cancelled five cruises scheduled to run from Sydney , Australia, from January 16 to Feb 8, 2021.

Following the decision of the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to extend its no-sail order for cruise operations until Oct. 31, for the rest of the year, Carnival canceled all but PortMiami and Port Canaveral cruises. In a statement , the company said it has now determined that operations in November 2020 will not be feasible.

"Carnival continues to work on protocols and procedures that would allow for the resumption of cruise operations, with a gradual, phased-in approach, designating Miami and Port Canaveral as the first two homeports for embarkations. Cruises currently scheduled for December from those two homeports remain in place for the time being while Carnival evaluates options," the company announced.

Carnival is notifying guests and travel agents in Australia that five Carnival Splendor cruises have been cancelled from Jan. 16-Feb. 8, 2021. The same FCC/OBC combination bid, or a full refund, will be offered to those guests.
