Carnival Corporation increases fundraising to $3.5 billion

Carnival Corporation today reported that it has priced the $3.5 billion aggregate principal amount of 5.75% senior unsecured notes due 2027 for private offerings.

The aggregate principal sum to be issued of Senior Unsecured Notes was raised to $3.5 billion.

According to a press release, the offering of Senior Unsecured Notes is set to close on February 16, 2021, subject to customary closing conditions.

On March 1 and September 1 of each year, starting on September 1, 2021, the Senior Unsecured Notes will pay interest semi-annually at a rate of 5.75 percent per year.

On March 1, 2027, the Senior Unsecured Notes will be unsecured and will expire.
