Black Sea Fleet ships completed exercise with Algerian Navy

It has been announced that ships of the Black Sea Fleet completed their exercises with the naval forces of Algeria in the Mediterranean waters.

Black Sea Fleet’s naval group held joint drills with the Algerian Navy to practice joint measures for ensuring safety at sea, during which the ships’ crews practiced control of civilian shipping with inspections of the vessels suspected of piracy and illegal economic activity.

The fleet is including the frigate Admiral Makarov, the patrol ship Vasily Bykov and the rescue tug SB-739.

While Russian sailors were visiting the historical places of Algeria, the ships of the Black Sea Fleet were open for visiting by Algerian colleagues.
