Atlas Ocean Voyages unveils direct-to-ship charter flights

Atlas Ocean Voyages announced today that it will run a charter flight for its Antarctic expeditions from 2021-2022.

The company said it is chartering a private wide-body plane to carry guests to Ushuaia, Argentina, where they will embark on the World Navigator from the United States.

The private charter jet service of Atlas shortens the travel time it takes for guests to enter and return from the Antarctic port of embarkation and eliminates the layovers and frustrating scheduling that is popular with commercial routes, the company said.

As soon as they board the private jet, guests can also enjoy Atlas' stylish and engaging service, all part of Atlas 'All Inclusive All the Way commitment, in which free, round-trip air travel and more is always included.

"Antarctica is the ultimate bucket-list destination and Atlas Ocean Voyages is innovating the industry again by greatly reducing the transit time for North American travelers. And our guests will enjoy Atlas’ engaging and enjoyable ambience as soon as they board our private charter jet. This innovation is part of Atlas’ All Inclusive All the Way commitment, in which we take care of the details and make it more convenient and seamless for our guests to enjoy Atlas’ once-in-a-lifetime experiences,"  said Atlas’ President Alberto Aliberti.

Guests of the Antarctica routes of the World Navigator experience comprehensive, free air travel from 16 main gateways to the United States and Canada. Guests will connect with Atlas' private wide-body charter jet in Orlando, Florida, which takes guests directly to Ushuaia to meet the World Navigator.

Guests will be escorted via immigration upon arrival in Ushuaia and transferred to World Navigator, while their checked luggage will be transported to their suites and staterooms.
