Employee dies after an accident at container terminal in Copenhagen

The work accident occurred when two straddle carriers collided with each other. Despite extensive treatment at the hospital, the employee passed away on Sunday evening, due to severe injuries.

According to statement of Copenhagen Malmö Port, the worker was seriously injured. Despite extensive treatment at the hospital, the worker passed away in the evening of October 6 due to severe injuries.

CEO of Copenhagen Malmö Port, Barbara Scheel Agersnap stated that “It is with the deepest sadness that we have received the information that we have lost a colleague. It is a great tragedy. My thoughts during this difficult time go to the family and other relatives, and also to everyone in CMP who has lost a good friend and highly valued colleague”.
